Chardonnay
International grape variety that finds a suitable habitat in the region, which elevates it to one of the most continuous and characteristic Friulian white wines. It has excellent aging potential especially if well aged in wood.
Maceration in 35 Hl French oak barrels and aging partly in steel and partly in 500-liter tonneau.
On the nose it is striking for its elegance and characteristic notes of yeast, bread crust, refined in the mouth, intense with hints of acacia flowers and wisteria. It goes well with soups and pasta, fish soups, savory vegetable pies and spicy risottos.
